Fossena’s stone;
cm 116,5x40x40

The work consists of a gray stone column 166.5 cm long as much as my height. At both ends are engraved two sentences, on one end ERO UNA PIETRA (I WAS A STONE) and on the other SARO’ UNA PIETRA (I WILL BE A STONE).
The work alludes to the resistance of the natural material beyond the use that man makes of it, the stone column will continue to be stone beyond the temporal parenthesis in which it was not only stone but also a human artifact.
The preservation of human memory takes place through the conservation of objects which in addition to this have their own ancestral and natural memory. Human intervention tries to interrupt this cycle because humanity needs a memory that is not only the natural one linked to his survival, like other animals have.
