A 2-ton rock of pink granite from Gallura (Sardinia) rests on a white bronze platform measuring 350x250 cm. In turn, the platform is cantilevered over a terrace in the middle of an olive tree grove in Capri. For 254 million years, this rock had only ever seen the sun rise from the sea; now, however, in Capri, it will watch the sun set into the very same sea from which it emerged for so long.
