An 8 × 8 × 8 cm bronze cube, corresponding to the distance between my pupils, is dropped onto a 10 × 10 × 10 cm cube of fresh clay, corresponding to the outer limits of my eyes. The contact between the two materials generates a new form. Subsequently, the portion of clay deformed by the impact is cast in bronze and patinated so that it appears identical to the clay from which it was originally made.
